A recently emerged Marbled White Melanargia galathea, taken this evening, in the last of the evening light, before the heavy cloud rolled in.
Had a good walk around and they are about in another couple of enclaves, but the majority, are in my "secret spot"Wink

Fingers X'd for some reasonable weather next week - Purple Emperors, White Admirals and Chalkhill Blues are on the agenda, all within thirty minutes of homeSmile

Thumbs up to Alan (Alan_Baseley), for his award given to yesterday's Small HeathTongue

You can stop now, you're starting to annoy me Tongue

Great shot again and I just know you're gonna get amongst the Emperors! I'll probably be lucky just to get a chance to see one at the fairly local site, let alone try for any photos.

You can go dramatically off people you know AdrianWink. I am still searching for a good spot in Cornwall, there are supposedly one or two, but so far bad weather on my 'free' days have hindered playSad This is a beauty, such crisp detail and colours.

Banging image Adrian.....You'd have had my award on this one had I not just given it away to an image just as deserving. Really impressive stuff mate.
