Panasonic update and a surprise!

Following on from Panasonic coming to visit us, I went to Windsor to see them and had a better play with the GH1. Great little camera and you can see some of the pictures I took with it on the review page.

While making my way back to the meeting spot, I noticed some people taking pictures of a fountain. I noticed they were using a Pentax DSLR so figured it must be Eton college students doing some coursework or something.

I noticed it wasn't a design of camera I was familiar with then I noticed the HDMI icon down the side of the camera. I got excited and approached a girl taking a photograph of a flower.

I asked what camera she was using and she replied it was a Pentax. I asked which one and she stalled. Then I recognised her as the very lovely Sarah from Pentax UK and she was out taking some test shots with the new K-7!

I got to have a hold and a quick look through the systems. In the few seconds I had before she took it back off me, I was quite impressed. Take a look at the review page for a preview of the specification. I'm trying to get hold of a model first so stay tuned.
