Arriety - it was deliberate. There was a breeze blowing the flowers, this rose was about 5.5ft up, and I had to take it hand held - the light was right on this rose - and I needed a reasonably high shutter speed to ensure reasonably sharp image. ISO8000 has some luminance noise in the K5, but it's like fine film grain, and Lightroom 3 handles it very well.
