I often feel there is something slightly sinister and mysterious about many of the locations I visit and I try to express this in my photographs. Most are taken during winter when trees are bare and lifeless, often captured around dawn or dusk when shadows appear long and foreboding.

The photos are displayed on www.blackandwhiteimages.net which is a collection of black and white infrared photographs mainly depicting British landmarks, churchyards and historic buildings. I am delighted that photos have been used to illustrate book covers by authors such as P. D James and Ruth Rendell and over 200 are represented by two specialist stock photography agencies.

I established my full time event photography business in 2002 which I thoroughly enjoy but does make heavy demands on my time. Any spare time I do get is often spent indulging my passion for black and white.
