From my recent trip to Westcombe in Devon. The water round the foreground rock here are too deep for my boots, and as I did not want to make the long walk back in wet boots, I kicked them off, rolled up the trousers and went paddling. I am happy to report that the water in the middle of December was not quite as cold as feared. However the razor sharp shale was rather less comfortable...
The huge rock formations here are spectacular - they tower over the beach like cathedrals of rock
