Matt, this is a cool picture.
Been thinking about getting out to do this sort of thing when conditions are right here. I'm guessing you took a separate exposure for foreground when light was good and stayed put for night-time and the trails to combine all in PS later?

Thanks for the feedback guys.
There was quite a lot of moon light - I was able to walk around without a torch quite easily. The moonlight gave the light on the ground, but unfortunately provides its own 'light pollution' to blot out some of the stars. Its a case of finding the right night when there is a good ballance of the two.
The 60min exposure was made up of 6, 10 minute exposures. I actually only used two of the exposures for the ground - as the moon moves, the shadows move and blur our the detail. The star movemement are from all 6 exposures.
