This afternoon I saw two different butterflies in my garden, this Peacock is the first & I also saw a small tortoiseshell. Think this is Summer ! Smile

Two fine captures Mavis. Plenty of Peacocks around but I haven't seen a tortoiseshell this year.

What wonderful colours Mavis - looks like v1 is on your Buddleia - mine died and I have really missed the butterflies it used to attract

Such gorgeous Butterflies arn't they, always makes me smile and feel good to be alive on seeing one. And yes Ronnie, this really does feel like Summer at LAST! And now it's time for everyone to complain about the heat Smile

Two real beauties Mavis, it's been a poor year for butterflies unfortunately, I've had very few visit my garden with the exception of a few small whites and holly blues
