I was at Wisley last Saturday and I saw this Heron twice and was able to capture it in my camera . The sun was so bright could hardly see to take it.He caught this slug, spat it out then looked at it. Then ate it ,but had to have two drinks of water to get it down

Wonderful set Mavis, like them both. V1 looks like the Heron is finding its shadow interesting.

V2 is my pick Mavis - the colours are brilliant. Perhaps a tad more room on the right would have been good but that's a minor point. Was this before or after the snail snack?SmileSmileSmile
