We spent a couple of hours in Romsey last August. It was dry, true, but not nearly so atmospheric as this.
(Mind you, the floral borders in Romsey Park were stunningly beautiful, but that's another story . . .)

That I can't say, Mavis; I am sure it is very expensive these days.
We used to go to the park about once a week when I was little; my father used to fish there and thereabouts and was great friends with the elderly keeper at the nearby mill. Later I would ride my bike there from home in Shirley; it was a good spin for an evening, I could manage there and back in an hour.
Nowadays the traffic there is awful
