Finally got my mitts on an X100. I've wanted a walkabout camera for ages but the market for csc's and mirrorless is pretty crowded. Anyway decided to take a pic of the new peice of kit.

Initial impressions are very positive.

Thanks Conrad, My son who is 8 years old made me chuckle. He said to me while I was taking this photo "Why are you taking a picture of that old camera ?"

To me that's part of the appeal, I think the look of the camera makes it far less intimidating than pointing a SLR with a huge lens at them.
