normaly iam on flick as teamfactor
Hope you find the site inspiring, Mo.
And what a super shot to start off with......a portrait of your son in character. Very detailed and beautifully presented image.
very nice work. welcome to EPZ and congrats on the GEA.lesley
Light and tones spot on with excellent skin colouring. Might have been inclined to light the bg more but with saying that the faint shadow cast gives a type of Peter Pan effect. Was it just one light from front left or softboxes. I have been trying these home studio shots lately and have struggled to get a pure white bg as good as this
Welcome to EPZ have yourself a great stay.
Looks like you have started very well, first image up and you get an award, can't wait to see more from you.
thank you so much everybody, is going to take me a few days but this site is awesome
i wish i had found it before
fantastic information and lovely people here
This is an excellent first upload so well done.
I'm going to go against the flow slightly though because the first thing I thought was that it would look better with all of the shadows removed.
Just my opinion, of course.
A first rate technical shot. f11 and no flash in the studio so it must be tungsten lit. If so the lights must still be through soft boxes as there are no shadows unless you cloned them out. This, for me is a very high quality technical record of a child in costume - the ideal shot would have been with him in a suitable old world street but, with that white background it would be very easy to put him in one with post processing.
