Hi,

I purchased my first digital camera in 2004, just to take shots of stuff I was selling on eBay. I took the camera with me (Fuji A210) on a couple of days out and became hooked taking photographs.

Since then I've purchased a prosumer Panasonic FZ20, which is a huge step-up from my first camera. I'm still very much trying to get to grips with all the features particularly manual exposure...

I also like to try to grab any shot that interests me, so I purchased a Canon Digital Ixus 500, lovely and compact which I keep with me at all times.

Living in West Yorkshire I try to visit the Dales, Pennines, Peak District and East Coast when possible.

I use photoshop to manipulate my shots, which I try to keep to a minimum. I'm also very keen on B&W and hope to improve my skills in this area.

I'm very much a beginner and am very keen to learn so all help and advice is appreciated.
