Emerald Damsel

Beautiful macro! I love dragon- and damselflies. This one looks like a Lestes disjunctus, a Common Spreadwing. Wonderful colors.

Afternoon sun

Yes, that's Michigan. But as long as I have a warm house, let it snow and blow and freeze...in the end...there will be another Spring, Peter! Thanks for your continued correspondence and always upbeat messages. SmileSmileSmile

Nice shot!

We are not expecting the storm here in Michigan, but I feel sorry for the eastern states, they've already had enough this winter.

Nuthatch by terryxc

Hello, kenwill, I am a bird lover and have taken many photos with my inexpensive 'point-and-shoot' camera. I know very little about technical details, that's why my Canon SX50 HS is perfect for me. For taking bird photos, the automatic settings are fine for me. Since there are a few million photographers shooting birds all over the world, I don't try to compete with any of them, only enjoy having a good time watching birds. I think your photos are great!
