A couple of shots of the profuse perennial gardens at Kingsbrae.
Situated among the flowers were dozens of species of Japanese Maple. It made a wonderful contrast.

The poppies are wll placed between those maples and lilac flowers in V1.
I was hoping somebody would name those very showy beauties in V2 -
they too make a very striking image.
