Superb image Melanie, envy you this. We have just returned from the Lofoten Islands staying in Svolvaer. Did see the Aurora but not quite dark enough due to the towns harbour and fishing industry. Fantastic exposure, interested in your technique. Due to the aurora being not so strong on the East coast used exposures of 15/30 secs on F8 400 ASA. rON.

One of these magical moments Melanie, beautifully captured with the fg interest adding depth and interest without getting in the way. The best I've sen so far no surprise there then.
