This was earlier than the last shot, having managed to negotiate some ice to get there!
This version is with the 'Big Stopper' at a 4 min exposure, V2 is just after and without the filter.

Both good, but if forced to choose it would be V2 for me Smile

V2 by a mile for me. While I quite like the long exposure cloud movement the Big Stopper often produces, the clouds as they are here make for a much better image imho Wink

Two great shots, I'll have to go against the others and go with V1. I need to get a big stopper Grin
Martin..

I love my big stopper, but in this case I go for V2.
The colour in the clouds is better on the shorter exposure.
Hope you've warmed up after your cold day.

Thank you to all who have responded to this. I've had liitle opportunity to experiment with the filter. I really liked the glow that it accentuated on the FG rock to the right in this image. The colour cast of the filter also enhanced the 'gold on blue'. For the more natural: I'm in agreement V2 is how my it looked.

I agree with the rest. Both are good V2 wins for me.

I'd have to go for V2 as well. Those clouds are too good to blur!

Two great images both of which work well in thier own right but for some reason V2 stands out for me. Perhaps it's the warmer colours and more contrast.
