Decided to upload another of Rab playing guitar. It's ended up as an accidental series - this will be the last one.

Thanks for all your comments and support on the other two. This one, like the previous two has not been cropped at all. Taken at ISO 640. This one also seemed to work better in black and white.

I wonder whether you prefer the ones where all of Rab's face is visible? I'd be interested in hearing your thoughts.

I like this one best. Nothing to do with Rab's face, I just like the comp on this one. Works really well in B&W too.
Make him record an album so you can put this on the cover.

hard to say, in this one I like the frets , on the first one the face conveys that "at one with his guitar" feel

anyway there both good is what I believe Im trying to say !

Its a quality shot Mel..but for me it was Rabs face in the background and the selective focus that made the other two stand out. On the whole the first upload is still the winner for me! Smile

I like the composition of this too, has a bit of mystery to it, best of the series for me although I do like both the b&w ones

Another strong composition and I don't think it matters about the whole face not being on the shot. Difficult to pick a favourite but it would have to be between the two BW shots.

LOL, you guys are funny!

Anyway, Mel, so this is what you've been up to lately. What a nice accident, this series. This one works for me because of the focus on Rab's hand, and I do prefer his face partially cropped out - if you could have seen his whole face, I think that would have distracted from your real point of focus. Well done!

I would like to point out that the dust is due to the fact that the guitar is in France and therefore only used infrequently. My other guitars are in Britain have far less dust ;o)
