eating out of your hand that is something to achieve! Still trying with my great tits.
This reminds me of a Robin I befriended as a child in a convalescent home on the isle of white 1945, the nuns used to take us for walks, I saved my bread from breakfast for this robin, I was recovering from spinal meningitis, I was away from home knew no one, so this feathered friend meant everything to me on our daily walks, he used to land on my hand and eat the bread. one morning I stopped at the same place, there were a few scattered pieces of bread on the ground and the Robin with it's neck wrung! some person had watched me and got a perverse pleasure out of what they had done! faith is all I have in life! goodness will win hopefully, sorry if I have turned this lovely photo in to a sad story! but that is life, regards Leon.![]()

Sometimes we are dealt blows that are difficult to cope with but we find that inner strength when it is needed, you have not spoilt the image at all.
