When i go to our local beach i often watch the marram grass blowing in the breeze ,its just a beautiful sight .You have captured this so well in this image Derek .With the grasses bending over ,the light and the lone figure, all coming together to make it such a winner .

Works well in mono too; the lack of the rainbow is compensated by the dramatic sky.

Very different from the previous image. There, much of the interest lay with the foreground, for me, in the textures and the light.
Here, I feel that it's all about the distance, and the wild space there... the lone figure in an expanse of sand, sea, sky. The foreground tells us about the wind and the cold.
