This is excellent, Merlin, with a nice clean background, beautiful colourful shining droplets, the spider nicely placed in the frame, and its face showing too. I have done a modification to completely darken the background, using curves, and also to reduce the "flares" caused by your use of flash. I used the burn tool on the spider's body where the flash had also removed some detail, then sharpened. You may like the blue flares, but I thought I would show you what it would look like without them, which I have done in my second modification.
