Cropped down to remove the sky and some unnecessary plants to teh left. I would like to get rid of the bush lower right corner but then loose the horses hooves, which I think are important.
Increased contrast, vibrance, clarity and saturation
Slight highlight recovery and black clipping

Excellent work! Only as You mentioned the bush takes attention away from main subject, maybe would be good idea to try darken it a bit?
Anyway graeat shot and well spot on! Very nice crop as well!

Great shot. Love the horses mouth open. Super timing. Yes, too bad about the bush. ......Sandy

This is an excellent shot - if the bush is spoiling the shot for you, maybe you could clone some of the dust over that area - just a thought !

Nice shot Merlin.

You can get rid of some of the bush without interfering with the horses - see my mod. I have maintained the aspect ratio of the shot. I also desaturated the colour of the bush to make it less prominent.

Catherine

one of those magic moments and always something you dont want in frame. happens to us all Wink

but for all that its not so bad, the atmosphere is super with the dust and the expressions and positions of the horses work really well.

the problem for me is the fact that the detail in the two horses is merging and i think a bit of careful dodging and burning would reap great benefits in heightening the contrast and provide a little separation.

from the mods that have been done already, it looks as if a combination of darkening, desaturating and slight cropping would help with the bottom corner and thats been covered in detail above.

a grat shot all the same, dont worry too much about the grasses, it would be better without, but its not critical.
Phil
