Dont normally udertake a landscape as such and was not intending to do this but we were out in the Westlakes a couple of weekends back( as a pro I was doing some recces for a wedding venue) and as usual the kit was with me. Saw this as we strolled along the 'prom' at Seascale. Its handheld and a raw file. Just brought out the relevent areas in photoshop. No filters just snapped away. Hope you like!

Did you clone out the flag marker at the end Mark or maybe they have taken it down since I was there last. Good lead in and imposing sky.

You are quite right thats the ONLY 'official' bit I forgot too mention. It stuck out like a sore thumb so I got rid. Dont want to remove or degrade the pic anymore as I could have got rid of the pebble bank on the right or grass on left. I removed the flag cos it detracted from the leadin. Hope that makes sense? For me, it was the real challenge of a dramatic sky and could I capture it without a tripod and filters as the light was fading. That was my main objective.

Wasn't a criticism Mark, merely curious if they had taken it down. I pondered over cloning it out on the ocassions i shot that jetty but in the end left it in, I'm lazy when it comes to something tasking in PS to do. ![]()
