Red is for Danger

Red is for DangerNice bit of colour popping Stuart. I'm guessing you live close to this location, if i'm right next time your passing take the shot again but try it with the post on the right hand side. It's not a golden rule but when you have forground interest like this or lifeform place them in your image so that they rest of the image to look into.

Keep clicking Grin

Downhill

DownhillHi John, this seems to be a good place for a photo shot and indeed you have captured foreground interest, reflections and water but (and don't hang me for saying this) I think if you were to take this image from more to the right it may work better. You would capture more of the sea and sky line with possibly a little less of the cliff which holds no detail. You could also still contain your foreground interest with the small rocks and reflections. John, it's still a nice image and it's just an idea. Smile

Keep clicking, you have a good and diverse pf.

cloud

cloudHi Laszlo,
I can see you have tried to capture the clouds in this image. Clouds can be a fantastic and rewarding subject, try and find some interesting foreground to help lead your eye. Look up the rule of thirds and try to compose your shots with that in mind, you can always crop your shots in a photo program to create a more pleasing image.

There is not alot you can do with your image but to quickly show you what could be achieved with a bit of practice I have made some slight adjustments, have a look.

Keep shooting and keep practicing but always remember take images that please you not other people. Wink

City Hall

City HallHi Gary, I don't think this image needs a sky, it has good sharp clean lines and works well in mono. The only thing I would like to suggest you try is cropping out the sky nearer to the building and then re-sizing the image. I think it's a good artistic shot.

Martial Glacier - Ushuaia

Martial Glacier - UshuaiaGood shot with your eyes being lead into the centre of picture before resting on the horizon. A little tweak to the right to level the image might just balance it a touch more (only my opinion). Well captured

Hydraudynamics 7

Hydraudynamics 7Good subject and captured well, maybe if the image was straightend a little it would make a better image (only my opinion). Well done. Smile
