Taken off a pier head.. I should have added they were steps going into water.

Saw something round & yellowish in the sky today
any ideas?

Great idea, Michaela: it is a bit noisy due to the high ISO and with a shutter speed of 1/800 you could have dropped the ISO substantially and got a lot less noise.
But were you deliberately trying for a high noise image for effect?

Too many pigeons round here to make looking up safe, but I did manage to to see where I was going without a torch !!Wink

I love the abstract quality and the colours of the image.

oh this round and yellowish something is a permanent resident on this island and from time to time
it likes to surprise other European people with a flying visit...Smile

Anyway the image is really felicitous , the colors make the water so smooth and inviting.

PS You will love Vernazza. It was completely destroyed by a flash flood recently but from what I understand they are restored the town.
