Not sure how much longer people will sell newspapers in the street, but, in case they stop doing it soon, I though I'd take a picture.

Thats a super conversion Michael ,did you use channel mixer ?.I need to do some mono work but i am struggling Smile

Thanks for looking - Ollie, I only have Photoshop Elements so don't have the channel mixer. This was converted directly from the raw file using Digital Photo Professional and a bit if fiddling about. You could try a search for the Russell Brown tonal conversion technique - it works well. If you can't find anything that explains it properly drop me a line and I'll try!

Michael - this is a superb piece of street photography, perfectly converted to mono, really like the tones and contrasts! I think you could loose that tiny little dark strip on the right hand side, but that's just a thought - excellent work Smile
