Plas Y Brenin Sunset

Plas Y Brenin Sunset by Balesy

Good points above about exposure. I would like to add my little note about colour. While not sure what colous were present there in reality, in the image they don't seem to be saying "sunset" to me. I would make it in a warmer tone, more like the red Sun disk presents at sunset. White balance of the image is well worth working over, at the moment it looks a bit wrong to me.
Cheers!

An image taken in beautiful style. This is not a document of a common weed, but a photo of a beautiful flower. As always, the art of photography is to see the beauty - all the rest is a trade.
Cheers!

Beautiful image, and one of not many that called a smile on my face. Thanks for that!

Great colours, beautiful composition - very pleasant image overall. Not entirely in focus and not enough out of focus petals spoil the impression a little bit. Maybe, a bit of selective sharpening/blurring could make it better. Love the image anyway!

Even though I was meant to be Canon/Fuji man Wink I could not resist giving my personal award to this superb work. In such a difficult light situation nothing in the image is out of place especially this little halo closer to the image centre - I almost feel this frosty air. Thanks for the pleasure watching it!

Hi,
This image is an eye-catcher, it is done well technically, and I have nothing critical to say on composition as well. Very good image overall.

Though, I feel a bit of ambiguity in the message given us with this image. Every image carries it's author's vision and says us something - even if it was shot "just because it was beautiful". Here I read it as a mystery of a long road in the woods, and somewhat hazy end of the road reinforces this impression.

But why such a contrast on the front plane? I would think that somewhat softer contrast would suit better this way to read the image. Maybe, your idea was different? We are all fine individuals after allSmile
