Taken on a recent visit to Assynt and Inverpolly. With hindsight should have risked the ice to get the fallen piece of wood more diagonally in the frame but I guess safety came first as I wasn't sure how deep the water or how thick the ice.

Lovely detail on the frosted grass, Mick, and a great band of cloud. I think the wood is well positioned across the bottom of the frame... and definitely not worth an icy bath to try variations. ![]()
