Watcha Xiaoli,
an interesting composition, slightly spoiled by the right hand side plant (looks like hogweed) breaking the frame, perhaps clone part of it out away from the edge, the two bits that are touching the edge can be taken away and will look like broken stems, don't crop it out because the tension created by the diagonal composition is excellent. You do need to use a tripod, especially in low light, this is soft all over. Try and make a virtue of that by selectively applying areas of lens blur in layers.

the B&W certainly works, not sure about the diagonal, it doesn't add to the dynamics of this pic, It's already dynamic enough with the movement of the passengers. However, the diagonal makes it look more like a candid street photograph, shot from the hip.

looks good, needs a fair old chunk off the left, a bit off the bottom and a bit more off the top, try and get it so the bird is sitting on a thirds intersection.

yep, nice shot, needed the conversion that couple in the mid-distance and the bloke in the football shirt spoil the effect, B&W lessens their insistance. This sepia isn't quite right, can't put my finger on it but I'm guesing that you didn't reduce the opacity after you'd created it, left it a bit milky.
I've had a little play with this.

excellent shot, improved by the crop. Had you thought of leaving the sky and removing all of the lower area of sand, up to the base of the fist(left) dune? I bunged a sheet of paper across it, well Amateur Photographer really and to me it looked better?

I know what you mean, PS is a headache, it gets easier each time you get to master a new trick after you lassoo your m distance and make you levels layer to do whatever your doing, make sure you have black and white as your FG/BG, click on the brush tool, use about 100 soft brush with an opacity of about 20% and dab at burnt out highlights till you're back to where you want them, it works. However, it's your pic, how you want it is how you want it, and that's what's important.

nice little collection of bird pics, I do like this, excellent action shop, caught the 'decisive moment.'

I think that with this sort of shot, it's no great problem to lose the wing tips; however, with them would have been a much better pic. In future, if you're after this kind of shot, it may be better to prepare yourself with the camera in the portrait mode, in landscape you would have to be so precise to get the wing tips and the reflection.

still a good pic, but, for me, it hasn't resolved the tension between the rough frame - bandaged hand, and the pretty blue background. The pretty girl and rough bits go together, although a fighter without scars is a contradiction in terms, the mod by Andy has helped to resolve that. I am still of the opinion that the blue, clean background is killing the pic.
Photoshop skills, as I'm on about 2/10, I'm not really in a position to judge, but I'd have to put you up in the higher numbers

I think the epz black is too overpowering and is unbalancing the whole; also, the spotted birds against the light sky are fine, the one next to the steeple in the dark sky, doesn't work, it's a distraction.

infra red int my thing, well, all right, I'd try it with infrared film or a digital modified to pass infrared, but to simulate it, it's no different to simulated cyanotype, whatever. However, have you tried home - techniques - infrared? there are six articles on the subject there; also, Pete has this excellent article: Pinhole Magic, in it he refers to the diffuse glow filter and its use in infrared, might be helpful.

well exposed and composed, it works with and without the train. I see the whole thing as a series of interlocking geometric shapes enhanced by the movemnt of the hills down to the right and the rapid thrust of train down to the left. The tree in the lower left holds the train in the pic and the clouds and trees on the right stop us falling out of the right hand margin. If there were any cropping, I would say take off some of the left edge; however, that would slice a lump of the farmhouse, such an important element here, nah, leave the thing alone.

well exposed and worth the upload and vote for that, aptly mono to bring out the ruggedness of the area.
Compositionally, I can't help but feel I'm falling down the slope and out of the right hand side of the picture. I put up an index card on the screen and cut out about 1/2 of the right hand mountain, greatly improved, in my mind, it also helped to subdue that vignetted RH sky corner; over polarised?
