Fooling around with this old glass plate neg and a rather excellent article in the latest AP, creating duotones using gradient maps so I had a bash. I think I've got the highlight/midtone colour too deep, ah well, better luck next time.
What's the matter with this site, I had to log in again, it sporadicaly does that and I've made no changes to my computer.

Bill will be along in a little while... We had our U3A Photography group this afternoon, Bill did a little talk on early processes, and reproducing the effects digitally.
I like the subtlety of the highlights, there's the feel of mellow sunshine.

My eyes must be exceedingly tire tonight - I understood Moira to have written ' the keel of yellow submarine'.........
I seem to remember this lovely early Citroen.
The toning looks fine to me - it all depends on the eye of the beholder, I think.
Regards
Bill
