Playing around with a watercolour sky I knocked up. The sky sits uneasily on the landscape so I added a mezzotiint filter to the whole to try and draw both parts together? I think there is still un uneasy merge between the two, probably because of that hazy bit in the middle. However the sky does have some of the elements of East Anglian skies that was lacking in the original photo.

Interesting idea; I don't believe I've seen it done before. It works pretty well with the mezzotint applied.
