Very nice little rimlight on the head. And yes, they are handsome despite their many bad habits. Smile

I watch them every morning on the Hedgehog cam as they come down to clear up all the leftovers from the previous night, they are such characters and quite funny to watch especially when they bait the cats GrinGrinGrin

Fabulous pose again with this image......

Well they may be a nuisance if they pick your putty out or eat all the cherries but I still like them!
And your title is grat, love that look over the shoulder, too.

You're a day late, Julia... It's late September and I really should be back at school.

Excellent pose and composition.

Superb shot Julia. I think Magpies are really photogenic subjects. You've made a great job of this one.

"Oh maggie I wish I'd never seen your face
You made a first-class fool out of me
But I'm as blind as a fool can be
You stole my heart but I love you anyway"

So glad they got you to like them, Julia.
Another of your over-the-shoulder poses that you do so well.

Oft overlooked but beautiful colours. They are still trapped and killed widely in the countryside.

Well captured Julia.

Great Title, and fantastic capture, I have to admit that it is my favourite bird, but has not been a welcome visitor this year as it was after the baby sparrows Sad ... Carol Grin

A cracking shot of this striking and much maligned bird, I don't think many Mackems fans will be giving this one their vote!Wink
