A fantastic close up, beautiful focus and DOF, a stunning looking image.

Hi Dave I maybe you are a little harsh about the noise in the background I have just had a look at the original Image which was taken in natural light at 100 ISO and I cannot find any noise to speak of, this is selective focus at f 5.6 and has given very shallow dof which could maybe explain your comment,

Must say I cannot see any noise here, I do see a very clean shot with superb DOF.

A very good macro image imo - super focus, and almost abstract in its nature due the dof.
