I know you are not a ''rust fan'' Helen,so delighted to see it on your layers.I think it works very well on the smooth sand to give it a rougher texture.Perhaps not so well on the sea and sky.I reckon any light brown smooth surface would suit a rust layer very well,and any other colour left as it is.If it was possible here,to see the sand,lighthouse and the two posts only with the rust layer,and the blue sky and water left alone,would be a very effective working too.

Why is that you lot have to do all this jiggery pokery to a fit bird ?
Just leave them alone Alan,and lets see them in the flesh (so to speak !!) No need for the oil painting here.She looks a beauty on plain canvas as she is.Just confine your playing around to the likes of Anne Widdicombe !!

I like the simplicity of the lattice work in No1,straight from the camera.I feel no PS work is required to make it a more effective image.I do prefer images straight from the ''box''.Good one.
