I suppose looking at this, manufacturers do have an
argument for making their products from plastic.
It does seem to be lasting better than the metal !!

The plastic does make the rust look extra good!
This is a good triangular shape.
Careful you might do flowers next!

Nice detail as always, the blue plastic dose give extra life to comp, like the grain of the wood against
the rust.

Just shows my mind set at present, that blue bit looks like a piece of Lego with all the bumpy bits at the bottom. I could add it into the Lego blue tower, or into the Lego stable. Would look good in the imaginary Lego zoo too although with the brand name sterling there the boys would probably request a Lego train station to add to the track. Another day of me doing painting, Lego, playing with Thomas the Tank Engine and Friends and reading stories for my two three-year old grandsons, as it is pouring with rain hereSad
Great detailed rust, great lines and colours and that little bit extra, a piece of plasticWink

I'd love to know how the plastic performs in comparison with the Kentish Fluffy White Rust in my photograph yesterday, Mick.

Careful Mick, if manufacturers hear you they may make everything from plastic and rust would eventually disappear forever, imagine that.
Great shot, I like the mix of natural, partly natural partly manmade and manmade.

Sterling work, Mick.

Don't no the reason for all the metal rings on the cylindrical body of the padlock but they certainly to the shot - and there's an even number of them! Wink

Terrific textures in this image Mick, you have every right to feel blue I heard on the news last night when they focused on the weather, that Edinburgh had only one hour of sunshine so far this month!Sad This must be the only blue you've seen for ages!
