The house is empty and up for sale,
so it is understandable they do not want mail delivered.
But if I was the postman,I would still stick the letters through the letterbox,
to save me taking them all the way back to the depot !!
Wicked as ever Mike!
Well spotted Mick,
Why are we not surprised at the corrosion on the letterbox?
Some great texture in this image!
Great idea! If finances turn south, then one can use this approach to lower one's billing pressures. TG
I wonder what the postman said when he saw this ,great well spotted shot
Well said, Mick: true East Coast stile, eh!
Nice find, well caprured.
Blue-tack to the for as well with four blobs.
Good job I read your explanation, I thought it was for the cat to put the mice in, as it was to narrow for the milkman!
A nice find Mick. Very well captured.........Sandy
All very well if the Postman/Postwoman can read Mike, unlike some of ours who appear illiterate, and leave all "left over" mail in the last box of the run ! - (I'd like to say "just kidding" but I can't) - top pic though ...Bill
Your days must be full of surprises....for everyone Well spotted
Well spotted capture and great title.
So good job you are not the postman Mick
I expect the postie just says, "Oh, OK then", and goes on his cheery way.
But this looks like an open invitation to squatters to me.
Well spotted, at least they have a letter box and a postman!! I cant get my post delivered as I live too far from a road.!!
Proper! And an amusing change from iron oxide.
I wonder if I put up a note saying NO BILLS, would the postie pay attention to that. Well captured. Moira
It might have made more sense to seal up the actual Letter Box Mick, especially if YOU where the Post Man
Looks like an open invitation to me
The postman has to put them through by law.....The only thing that would stop him doing so is to completely seal the letterbox up.
Well spotted & like the title
that is one very unloved letterbox, quite funny with the sign above, I think there is probably piles of post behind that door.....
The sort of postman I would curse Mick
Cracking shot Mick, well spotted and captured. I bet their are more than a few letters that have been pushed through that letter box, despite the sign
An excellent week, Mick (I mean your photographic week, but ours was too) while your titles just get better and better!
Super find and shot Mick - I could do with one of those letter boxes, as only bills seem to come through mine these days !
I think i am ready to go post haste to the pub....I bet Aggie never refuses a mail.
That'll be one p**** off postman! Excellent!
Very well seen Mick
Is this what they call mail order?!! Well spotted, Mick!
The postman could craftily change the N to M...
'Cracking Sharp Color Shot!' LEx
Just like the postman you always deliver Mick, another first class image mate. I'm sure a fair few letters and leaflets have found their way through the letterbox!
Corrosion, a shadow and a sign. You are spoiling us.
Very well spotted.
He more than likely cant open the letter box Mick,to rusty..Lin
A big screw straight through usually works,
excellent colours & comp.
Female only ha ha ha try getting her through there! regards Leon.
