A number of weeks ago I uploaded a chain in which I stated it was painted red.A couple of eagle eyed members stated it was coated in red plastic and not paint. This was indeed correct.I make no mistake this time when I say the post here was painted over red at one time !!

You are correct, of course, Mick.
Plastic hadn't been invented when that post was painted Grin
And as this is Shadow Saturday, I will defend you by stating that this post is but a shadow of its former self.

Joking apart (well, one of us was probably joking) I have a photo somewhere of a French fire hydrant that looks remarkably similar. I mean, it's red!

Regards
Bill

Like the above comments, Mick, some really giving me a chuckle.
No mistaking the red this time, covering up the yellow but not tooooooo successfully.

I'm always surprised when you POST an arty-farty picture, Mick, quite artistic, as Kate says. Let's see MOOR of your creativity. It could prove to be the QUAY to your success. In fact, you could have a whole CHAIN of winners.

So, Mick...you went to see how Big Agie was doing, only to find she had slipped free from her ball & chain. Me thinks you need to purchase a stronger lock... Looks like she had a good chew of your bollard before leaving.
