Great composition, Color, and subject, but feels a bit of fill in flash on the 2 black horses would have help in the overall scene.
As for the Eating of horse meat, I feel it nice when you have the choice in many parts of the world you count yourself lucky to just have something to eat.

Have uploaded a mod where I have cropped a small area of the foreground which I feel gives it a better balance, also added a little warmth to the scene. Apart from that you have a great composition with the Paddy Fields and the sun, but the actual quality of the photograph lets it down which is a shame because the idea, composition, and the overall contend of the shot is good.

With ref to your focus problem maybe next time upping your aperture (if the light allows it) to around f/5.6 or f/8 it will help the D of F on the Horse face.

There is nothing wrong with your photo apart from being a little underexposed, and a lack of subject matter, look at your photo and think how much better it would be with for example having a Fishing Boat sailing along the river or something similar. It is called a focal point it gives your eyes something to focus on and holds the photo together.
Mind you because of the underexposure you got a great looking Sky, maybe just chop most of the lower part of the photo so all you will have will be the cityscape and sky???

Nice enough photo, as far as I can see all you need is to chop out most of the branches, and add a bit of warmed to the photo. (see Mod) you basic Editing Software you got with the camera should be just fine for the job.

You have a nice general sort of Seascape, well photograph and the composition is find. I have nothing against seabirds but for me in this case they do kind of spoil your shot.
Have uploaded two Mods: please note the quality of the mods are not too good, but my idea behind them is to show you that (for me anyway) there are better scenes within your picture. For me photography should be about capturing that scene, not too concerned with how the picture was taken or what equipment was used.
Anyway enough of my opining s, where is Lagoon Beach interesting looking place??.

Composition/Subject, and Sharpness are all great, but (there is always the but) it is a bit flat needs some contrast in the area of the left hand side of the boat. But leave the great Sky alone.
