Has marked abstract qualities: I wonder if these patterns are achieved by the receding waves or by the wind.
Well observed and captured, Malcolm, the lone pebble so necessary to the composition and perfectly placed within the frame.
Ronnie.

I bet this would look well printed out and hung say on a bathroom wall, or the likes

Very soothing, if that makes sense

Gorgeous, there's a sense of ebb and flow in the sand.

A well composed and original image, Malcolm!
I wonder how bid the file size is - if I've taken a shot of sand, the file size is usually huge!
All those grains, I expect!!

Interesting point made by Richard - I've never notice file size in relation to subject before?
Another lovely pattern and pebble to rest our eyes upon.
I say rest because I find it peaceful.

Lovely abstract sand art with limited colour, and the perfectly positioned pebble anchoring the image.

The different coloured sand forms wonderful patterns which mesmerise and delight.
