Thanks for comments, the cropping only extended to the top and RH side of the photo, the original framing did not include the ground, will bear in mind next time the light is right.

Like the way you have captured the ray of light but also would have liked to have seen a bit more of the foreground with the light falling on it. Perhaps a portait format would have been better.

beautiful shot. The shaft of light makes the picture regardless of lack of foreground.
