Sufi Dancers whirl for up to 20 minutes and don't fall over - how they do it is beyond me!

This was shot using a Nikon D70 and a Metz dedicated flash gun. Slow shutter speed of about 1/4 second and a rear curtain sync flash burst.

Great ! The technique works very well with this, I love the swirling costumes and the all important sharp face, lit by the flash.

Tremendous image. Its very good the way you have the movement vividly expressed but the dancer's face is clear and showing concentration.
(thanks also for sharing your technique - its nice to know just in case anyone wants to try to achieve similar)
