Captured this image 20 minutes ago at Lake Ovoca, Tennessee. I was focussed on a perch over the lake, waiting for the Belted Kingfisher to arrive, when this magnificent Hawk flew past and disappeared into the trees. The Red Shouldered Hawk was hiding deep in the woods, but I managed to pick it out with the long lens.
A raptor like this, always makes my day
