Saltwick Bay

An inspiring place for me. This stretch of coast has proved very dangerous to shipping over the years and the shale shelving in the bay is very slippy and has caught out many a photographer eager to get a good viewpoint.
To get the best from here you need to consult the Tide Tables and watch for the desired weather features.
I have been several times and am always amazed by the opportunities that present themselves
