The opposing colours caught my eye here,these interwoven bushes both flowering at the same time lend some colour to the otherwise generally bland scene.

Damn Mick, the secrets out, no mate, they are here but very few people are bitten by them, they will get out of your way if they can and they hibernate for a great part of the year, come out in summer.
We have been here since the sixties and have only seen a handful of snakes.
The art is to leave them alone and they go their own way.
Is this bush wattle Mike,? not sure what the mauve flower would be. Great
capture for the colours even though the weed of the black wattle is in the background…
