I like the blurred b/g and lighthouse and the bird taking centre stage, great composition

What a cracking image !.....great composition, with the Cormorant nicely emphasised with that b/g treatment.......top notch !

The overall effect is terrific, though I feel the bit of 'vagueness' around the bird & the rock could be improved, so I've done a simple mod to delineate the bird better, then sharpened the image
of just the bird/rock, leaving the b/g as is.....the extra definition now makes the image even more 'alive'......& I love it !!!!!!

I'd love to know what 'filter' effect you applied to the b/g to acheive that 'defragmented' look, it sure is very effective ????.Grin
