Its not a bad shot Mike, dont put yourself down - I have been there and its not as easy as some might think. If you enjoyed the day then thats part of what its about anyway

Thanks for your help Marl...yes I went on the catermeran...Serenity 2...left SH at 12.15 and got to Inner Farne at about 1.15 after a couple of stops at rocky cliff faces to shoot shags..collected me and a couple of other guys at 5.00, so all in an excellent afternoon....less than £20 not £40

Don't rate the fish n chips in Seahouses though
