Now this would have been perfect with a 70-200 + 1.4x Wink

Despite the likely number of squirrels it is not as easy as Edgar and JohnWannop make it look to get a really good image at Formby.

The light is often poor because of the dense woodland and is very changeable with bright patches of light often appearing where you least want them.

Finding a good spot and baiting it with nuts is part of the secret - the rest I could tell you but then I'd...

As opposed to a Wakefield red squirrel I suppose Mike LOL!! A good pose but a little soft for me . I agree 100% with Cheryl , it takes several visits and patience, let me know when you want to go again Mike I'll join up ,
