First shot for a couple of weeks. I've been laid out due to a recent fall down a river bank which resulted in a broken collar bone and a couple of broken ribs... Hell it was sore!! So this was my first day out of the house in 1 1/2 weeks. So my kind wife took me a drive to the coast only to realise when i got there i was still not fit enough to use my camera. Wife to the rescue.. she only ever uses a compact so had to ask what to do with the SLR. The result is probably better than anything i've submitted before. Well done Ailsa. x

Sorry to hear of your mishap but glad to know you are on the mend. This is a lovely shot with loads of f/g detail and interest with the bunches of sea thrift in amongst the rocks. Well done, Ailsa, indeed.
Regards, Ronnie.

Nice lead-in with those rugged rocks and those sea pinks make a pretty and interesting little splash of colour. Very well composed shot. Think you'd best watch out now Ailsa knows how to work that camera! Hope you mend rapidly.
