My youngest standing on Combestone Tor on Dartmoor, huddled up against the biting cold wind, staring off into space in a little world of her own.
Have a good weekend everyone...
Wonderful shot .... the figure really makes it work. Dave. P.S Caption should be "Don't Jump!!"

Lovely moody view and your daughter makes a great addition as a sense of scale.
A wonderful image.
An exceptional landscape photograph and a beautiful family portrait wrapped up in one.
A truely stunning moody image
Get her down from there you useless father lol.
I think i need to get out more, got a camera i can use lol
That's one excellent composition there, Miles. Excellent moody shot too.
Nice dark sky (well i`d prefer blue,no clouds and 95 degrees Lol) good cloud action, and gloomy colours in the forground,to add to the good composition makes this a winner.
Does it for me excellent.
Works very well, especially with someone in the shot.
A truly great composition with great symbolic undertones
The child completes the beautiful landscape. I like the even toning. Very good composition.
It's a cracking shot. Love the inclusion of your daughter and that sky is wonderful.
Nice one Miles
Your Daughter adds good perspective
How much did she charge you to model? LOL, it's a cracking shot.
Beltingly good shot.
Wonderful shot Miles.
Great shot, with the figure adding much.

Incredible foreground detail combined with a great sky make this a real winner!

Thank you for your comments.
Mike, no children were harmed in the making of this, she is actually quite well back from the edge.
Katie and Debbie, it cost me a bottle of Dr Pepper and a ham sandwich to get her up there, once she was up there getting her down was the problem as she liked it so much and I just wanted to go back to the car out of the wind...
A cracker, great atmospheric shot.
Superb atmosphere, great stuff.
Lovely shot Miles, well controlled exposure on the sky ! Did you use Grads ?
Yes Andy, somewhere along the line a Lee 0.6 ND HD Grad was used...
