A lovely BW toned print. Would of been better if you had shot in RAW. We would have seen a lot more detail in the stone work and shadow end. Just being fussy.

Thanks everyone for the comments and feedback.

Dave - it was shot in RAW - not sure why I ticked JPG!

This is very nearly how the photograph was straight from the camera. I cropped by about 10% in post processing. There has been no B & W conversion. There is some detail to be seen in the shadow areas when playing with the RAW file however extracting this pushed up the noise levels and took away some of the simplicity of the image. The light was coming down at a very steep angle in a narrow beam and I like the way it has picked out some of the stone work and left other parts in shadow.
