This is a part of my favorite Olympic project. A part of the cultural olympiad Collective Spirit is a boat made entirely from donated pieces of wood. They come from all sorts of places, musical instruments, furniture, a truncheon, toys sports equipment and many other things. It is extraordinarily beautiful. To my delight it turned up in the shopping centre in Milton Keynes, a place rarely associated with yachting!
